Legacy Keys Brown Out Schedule

This article applies to:

A brownout is an intentional software technique that disables certain features of an application during planned time periods.

The goal of our selected brown out times is to assist in identifying services that use legacy keys and will be permanently unavailable after the October 31st deadline, by choosing meaningful times that affect a broad scope of locations and increasing in duration.

All times are in UTC. Below is an example of how UTC converts to some cities.

Here is a timezone converter we used above for assistance.

*This single 24 hour period is strategically selected to help identify any month end processes or other calls that may have been missed in previous shorter duration outages. From this point you have 30 days to migrate from legacy keys.

If you have not migrated from legacy keys you will be affected by these planned, temporary interruptions. There is no ability to opt out in advance. This will only apply to calls authenticating with legacy keys. The only way to ensure you will not have any downtime is to remove legacy key authentication.

ADDITIONAL REMINDERS

We will completely disable legacy keys functionality on Thursday, Oct. 31st at 7am Phoenix time (UTC 14:00, London 2pm, Sydney Fri 1am).

*Subject to change without notice
