If you connected PayPal to Keap prior to December 2019 you could be using PayPal’s legacy integration that will no longer be supported. If this applies to you, please update your PayPal connection within Keap to continue using PayPal to take payments.
The added benefit of updating your PayPal connection is access to new PayPal features that Keap will be releasing like accepting Venmo payments as well as a buy-now-pay-later option.
PayPal Update Instructions
Updating to the new PayPal integration can be completed in 3 steps.
1. Locate the PayPal box on the Keap Payment Processing page
2. Click “upgrading” in the notification box and then click “Connect”
Note: if you do not see this notification then you have already updated your PayPal.

3. Enter your PayPal email address and password.
Note: If prompted, click Use existing business account.
Once this is complete, PayPal will be updated and you may continue taking payments as before.
Upgrading to PayPal Commerce will automatically set your default credit card processor to PayPal. If you want to continue using a different primary processor after upgrading to PayPal Commerce, deselect the Use PayPal Commerce checkbox and update your processor settings.
How to locate the PayPal box
Keap Ultimate / Max Classic
Click on Sales > Ecommerce setup in the left-hand menus
Scroll down the page and click on Payment Processing
Keap Pro/Max
Click on Sales > Sales settings in the left-hand menus
Click on Payment Processing at the top of the page
