This document outlines what is included when an appointment type is installed from one app to another, using Solution Launchpad.
What’s included?
The following data is included when installing an appointment type:
- Appointment Name
- Duration
- Buffer time
- Advance notice
- Pre-appointment instructions
What’s NOT included?
The following data is not included when installing an appointment type:
- Business Name from the original app
- Location (i.e. zoom link, address, or phone number)
- Availability days/times
Behavior Notes:
- Upon install, the appointment type is not assigned to any user’s calendar. In order to use the appointment type, a user in the destination app will need to configure their calendar and setup the newly installed appointment type.
- To set up the appointment type, the user can navigate to My day where they will find the appointment type and click “setup”.
- During installation, the appointment booking URL will be set to a random identifier. This makes sure the link will be unique, and remain connected to any emails, landing pages, or forms that may be pointing to the link. Updating the URL will break any existing links to the appointment.
